President Draupadi Murmu wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulating him. PM Modi has shared the letter sent by the President from his official X handle. Along with this, PM Modi wrote, “Honorable President, thank you very much for your good wishes on the auspicious occasion of Ram Lala’s life consecration in Ayodhya Dham. I am confident that this historic moment will further enrich Indian heritage and culture and will take our development journey to new heights.

President Draupadi Murmu wrote this in the letter
President Draupadi Murmu the prime minister Narendra Modi Said in the letter sent to, “You are doing proper penance for the consecration of the idol installed at the birth place of Lord Shri Ram in the new temple in Ayodhya Dham. On this occasion, my focus is on the important fact that the worship performed by you in that sacred complex will complete a historic phase of our unique civilizational journey.
The President wrote, “The arduous 11-day ritual undertaken by you is not merely a follower of sacred religious practices, but is a supreme spiritual act inspired by the spirit of sacrifice and an example of complete devotion to Lord Shri Ram.” On this auspicious occasion of your visit to Ayodhya Dham, I send my heartiest greetings to you. The free expression of the eternal soul of India is visible in the atmosphere of countrywide celebrations associated with the inauguration of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhyadham. It is the good fortune of all of us that we are witnessing the beginning of a new era of revival of our nation.
He wrote, “The universal values like courage, compassion and unwavering devotion to duty that were enshrined by Lord Shri Ram can be spread to the people through this temple.”
‘Prabhu Shri Ram symbolizes the best aspects of our cultural and spiritual heritage’
President Murmu wrote in the letter, “Prabhu Shri Ram symbolizes the best dimensions of our cultural and spiritual heritage. He presents the ideal of good continuously fighting against evil. Many chapters of our national history have been influenced by the life character and principles of Lord Shri Ram and the ideals of Ram Katha have inspired the nation builders. Gandhiji took refuge in the name Ram since childhood and the name Ram remained on his tongue till his last breath. Gandhiji had said that although my mind and heart had long ago experienced the supreme quality and name of God as truth, I recognize truth only in the name of Ram. During the most difficult phase of my ordeal, the name of Ram has been my protector and even now that name is protecting me.
He wrote, “Prabhu Shri Ram’s ideals of treating everyone with love and respect and being free from discrimination, irrespective of their social background, have also had a deep impact on the intellectual consciousness of our pioneering thinkers.”
The effect of Lord Shri Ram’s rituals is visible – President Murmu
President Murmu further wrote, “The influence of Lord Shri Ram’s tradition focused on justice and public welfare is also visible on the current approach to governance of our country. An example of this was clearly visible in your recent release of the first installment of several beneficial assistance under the ‘PM Janman’ initiative for the welfare of extremely backward tribal communities. Your mention of Mata Shabari in your address gave me a heart-touching feeling. Certainly, Mother Shabari will get double satisfaction by seeing the public welfare works along with the temple of Lord Shri Ram.
He wrote, “Prabhu Shri Ram is a symbol of the best dimensions of our land of India. In fact, they symbolize the best aspects of all humanity. My prayer is that Lord Shri Ram leads the world community on the right path, may he spread happiness and peace in everyone’s life. Jai Siyawar Ramchandra!”
